About the event
A new school year brings new teachers, new classrooms, new friendships, and often a few butterflies. As families prepare for the year ahead, we invite you to begin the journey surrounded by prayer, encouragement, and the love of God.
Join us for Blessing of the Backpacks, a special community event designed for students of all ages and their families. Bring your backpack as we gather to pray for a safe, successful, and joy-filled school year. We'll ask God's blessing over every student, teacher, administrator, school employee, and family as they begin a new chapter.
Throughout the morning, families can enjoy music, hands-on crafts, and a fun, welcoming atmosphere while children are reminded of five life-changing truths:
God created you with purpose.
God knows and cares about every detail of your life.
God is your safe place.
